About Tom Hoisington

For over 30 years, Tom has worked in the financial services industry initially selling insurance products and mutual funds; and later, training others how to sell those products.  As the Division Coordinator for a multi-national fraternal insurance society, Tom served as the compliance officer for a 24 state territory ensuring that the sales offices and all sales personnel were in full compliance with state insurance laws and NASD (now FINRA) Regulations.

As the Director of Education Outreach for a non-profit credit counseling agency, Tom has worked closely with Central Florida social service agencies delivering financial education and counseling to participants in a displaced homemakers assistance program, a family stabilization program, and to first-time home buyers.  He also counseled thousands of individuals and families who were struggling with overwhelming credit card debt.

Today, Tom is using those experiences and the knowledge gained from them to work with people who are rebuilding their financial lives; or, with those who are just beginning to build a financial life.  In either case, they want to build on a rock solid foundation of knowledge.

Additionally, Tom works with sales representatives, sales managers, and sales trainers providing insights into how sales representatives need to convey concepts and solutions in a manner that makes it easy for the customer to buy.

Tom is a graduate of California State University at Fullerton and has facilitated hundreds of training programs in both a corporate environment and for social service agencies.  A Certified CoreMap Facilitator, Tom uses the CoreMAP personality assessment tool to help clients discover their natural traits and abilities empowering them to obtain optimum outcomes and fulfillment in both their personal and professional lives.
